FarmVille Mystery Eggs Guide; Strategy and Tips

With the introduction of Chicken Coops has come the addition of mystery eggs. When you harvest eggs from your chicken coop, you have a small chance to harvest a mystery egg.

Mystery eggs will then hatch into different types of chickens which you can place on your farm.

White chickens have a chance to lay premium white eggs, which can contain a variety of bonus items. However, on occasion, your premium white chicken egg has a chance to hatch into a brown chicken:


White Chicken Eggs hatch into

White Chickens (common) (8 coins per egg)
Brown Chickens (uncommon) (16 coins per egg)
Flamingo (uncommon)
Golden Gnome (rare)


Uncommon Brown Mystery Eggs

Brown Mystery Eggs can hatch into:

Brown Chickens (common)
Black Chickens (rare) (32 coins per egg)
1 Fuel Refill (rare)


Black Chicken Eggs

Black chickens lay black chicken eggs which can hatch into:

Black Chicken (common)
Golden Chicken (rare)
10 Fuel Refills (rare)


Golden Chicken Eggs

Golden chicken eggs hatch into the contents of the first mystery box set. So, you have a chance to get a golden gnome, hot tub, and the like from these eggs. You can also get 20 fuel refills from the golden eggs.

Golden Chicken Egg Contents:

Gold Chicken (64 coins per egg)
Fire Pit
Golden Gnome
Hot Tub
Tree Swing
20 Fuel Refills


Note that the chance of getting these eggs is very small. The more chickens you have in your coop, the more likely you are to get an egg.

Also note that golden chickens are the most profitable animal in game. A coop full of golden chickens is producing more profit per pixel than Acai Trees (which cost 27 farm cash!)
