Chicken Coop Cheat; FarmVille Strategy

As mentioned in my mystery egg post yesterday, your chicken coop can be the most profitable thing on your farm, if you want to put the work in (weird saying that about a video game).

****************************************************************************************
Edit: Just know, you need a friend (or 2 accounts) to make this work. When you get an egg, you do not actually get to keep it - you get to share it with your friends. If you have a network of a few friends that are doing this, you could do it together all at the same time - or alternatively pass around the links in private messages on Facebook rather than publishing them to your wall.

While this might seem like a pain - just remember that 5 or so friend can collect the same mystery egg. If you have a group of 5 friends that are all doing this, you can collect the eggs five times as fast as if you were doing it alone.

Now, if you are completely anti-social and still want 100 golden chickens, the alternative would to use a second Facebook account. You could run your farm as normal on your first account, and on your second account horde chickens and send the links to your first account. As I said in the beginning, it requires a bit of work!
****************************************************************************************

Each golden chicken can produce 1 egg worth 64 coins once a day (23 hours). You can fit 20 chickens in a coop, which fits takes up 15 slots of space on your farm. A coop full of golden chickens will earn you 1280 coins per day, which is a lot more than any crop, or dairy farms, or any other item you can get.

You will need as many white chickens as you can get. Keep the white chickens outside your coop on the ground.

Step 1: Keep a large pool of white chickens outside of your coop and let them get ready to be harvested.

Step 2: Empty out your coop completely.

Step 3: Put one of the white chickens that is already at 100% in the coop.

Step 4: Now put chickens that have already been harvested in your coop. It is best to use the highest color you have (Gold is better than black is better than brown).

Step 5: Harvest your coop. You will be able to harvest all of the chickens in the coop despite the fact that only the original white one you put in was available for harvesting.

Step 6: Repeat this process for as many chickens as you have.

The more white chickens you can collect, the more times you can do this. Even if you only have white chickens, it is still in your best interest to harvest these chickens inside the coop as many times as you can.

If you harvest a full coop, about 1/4 of the time, you will get an egg. The egg is based on how many chickens are in your coop. For example, 20 white chickens will always produce a white egg, while if your coop has 10 white chickens and 10 brown chickens, you will produce white eggs half the time and brown eggs the other half of the time.

With a little luck and a lot of chickens, you can get brown chickens on a daily basis. After awhile, you will be getting black chickens on a daily basis, and ultimately golden

I'd like to see a farm at some point covered in golden chickens.. then I could die happy.

Edit, an e-mail I received:

Hi,
There is this Egg Exchage Group on Facebook that is a great way for egg gatherers to get a lot of eggs in return (5 for each one). Here's the link to the group:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=205709819470&ref=nf

And here's how it works:

Each egg produced by you can be hatched by five people - so for one egg you should get 5 eggs in return. If you don't have time to look for eggs all day, then this is the right place for you...
HOW TO:1. When your chicken lays an egg you will be asked to share it on your wall - do click on "Share", but DO NOT post it! 2. Just (right-)click on the picture of the egg in the prepared posting, copy the link location and save this link somewhere in a text document. 3. Click on Skip. (You should not post the egg on your wall)4. Post a note in this Group, just saying the color of the egg ("Golden Egg"), not the link itself. The first 5 people (who of course are able to offer an egg in the same color in return!) answering this post with EGG are the five people who will make an EGG-Exchange with you.5. Each of the five farmers has to send you a private message with one working link of an egg. Then you will, in return send a private message with your Egg-link.
That way, you get five eggs for each egg you have yourself. Great deal!!!

Wendy =)

So if you are missing out on some golden chickens, check out that group. If you do that regularly a few times you can easily get your coop filled with chickens.

  1. Does this cheat work for Dairy farms too?

  2. It does, but it's not worth the time. Dairy farms pay out way less, do not give any cool items, and cows take up more space.

It's not exactly fun to drag cows in and out of the dairy farm so you could burn out quick doing that.

  3. You're fucking amazing.

  4. The problem is that you can't convert your own white chickens -> brown -> black -> gold chickens. You only produce eggs, it's your neighbors that then get the eggs and have a chance to hatch chickens down the line.

You have to coordinate with at least one neighbor to generate farms full of golden chickens.

  5. For Dairy Farms is does work well
If you have 2 dairy farms, one with 20 cows and one with only 1 cow, then you can move 19 from the first into the second when the one with 1 is ready, harvest them, and then when the original one that had 20 (but you removed 19) is ready, move 19 from the second one back into it, and harvest it.

You also can move straight between dairy farms-no need to place them on the ground, just when you click the "look inside" button, place the cow inside your dairy farm, you dont have to place them on your actual farm ground.

Heres a visual (the [#] are different farms with # of cows inside)

  6. Good visual. NOT. What, are you 4 years old?

  7. I realized after moving chickens in and out of the coop for almost an hour that my neighbors are the only ones benefiting from the cheat. Not worth the time to me...but thanks for sharing! :)

  8. Every time you do this method you get 20 harvest toward your zoologist ribbon. So the one moving the chickens benefits too.

  9. Yeah, only your friends benefit from it, or you could use 2 accounts. I'll make it more clear in the post.

  10. How do you pass around the links in a private message rather than publish them on your wall? Every time I find an egg, the only two options are "publish" or "skip".

  11. With four friends actively playing along (all of us level 38-45) we have all gone from around 20 white and a few brown chickens on the weekend to all at least 15 gold chickens by mid-day Wednesday with legions of black and brown chickens. I've been selling off white and brown chickens to make things manageable. I should have more than 20 golden chickens by this evening. The 10x and 20x fuel things are of most interest. While the golden chickens are a cash cow, I have over 2MM coins, so I don't need any cash. The fire pits, hot tubs and such just take up real estate, and by the third hot tub, they lose their appeal.

In short, if you have a few friends that play, you can basically transition one color per day until you're loaded with golden chickens.

As for your wish, I'm guessing I could plow up my farm and populate the entire surface with gold chickens, at the rate I'm going in a couple weeks if I really wanted to.

  12. Whats the point in playing if your going to hord the eggs with a few friends and leave out all your other farm friends.I know i would like a few gold chickens myself but miss out on them and now i know why. Also remember that those other friends should have a chance cause without them your farm would still be small unless you want to spend real money on it.

  13. What happened to the mystery eggs ? Does anyone know ?

  14. @ anon - very nice, send some golden chickens my way!

@the 2nd anon - I have over 100 farm neighbors and I, on occasion, have seen golden chicken links posted on my wall. I've never been able to get there in time though. Most farmers still have mostly white chickens with a few browns - it's going to be quite some time before everyone gets golden chickens. I think it will take a solid 2-3 months before golden chicken egg links become a regular occurrence.

@Ruchita - They're still around as far as I know

  15. If anyone is interested in trying this idea out but doesn't have friends willing to invest the time in it then add me as a friend. Search for Andrew Wiggins and look for the profile picture with Hugh Laurie (House MD) in it. Put "Gold Chickens" in the message box.

  16. hw to get link of eggs from farmville

  17. To get the link to your egg without posting on your homepage:
    1) When it asks if you want to share your mystery egg, click "share."
    2) Right click the icon of your mystery egg when it asks if you want to publish. Pull down the menu and select "Copy link location."
    3) Click the skip button. Do not publish the link!
    4) Paste the link into private messages to those who you want to share with.

  18. If you’re sick and tired of running around totally broke while other players get barns and greenhouses and the most expensive villa, this information is for you.

You’ve probably always wondered why you can’t seem to make as much money or level up as fast as the other players in the game.

I used to wonder the same thing. I thought,

“Where are these people making money so fast?”
“Are they buying it on FarmVille?”
“What are they growing and selling?”

So I set out to spy on all the successful players I could find to see just what they did to earn all of their money and to level up so fast.

  26. each colour chicken will sometimes lay the next level up, ie a white will sometimes lay a brown, a brown will sometimes lay a black, a black will sometimes lay a gold. This doesn't happen often.
