FarmVille Sparkling Crops, Fertilizer, and Crop Whisperer Update!

In addition to the big update last night, fertilizer is now available to everyone. You can now work on the Crop Whisperer ribbon!

When you visit a friends farm now you can fertilize their crops. If they have crops that are growing, you have a chance to see this message:


If the person has no crops growing (either fallow land or completely grown), you will not be prompted to fertilize their crops. When you hit accept, the fertilize bag will automatically be drawn up:


Simply click on their growing crops just as if you were plowing a field. You can click on each neighbors' crops 5 times. You can do this once per day for each neighbor you have that is growing crops. When you fertilize a neighbor's crops, you get one experience point for each crop that you fertilize, bringing up the total maximum XP you can get for helping a neighbor up to 10.

When your crops are fertilized, they sparkle, like this:


Each crop gives you 1 xp when it is harvested.

I will add information on the rewards for completing the Crop Whisperer ribbon as I get it as well.
