FarmVille Crop Profit Guide; Strategy and Tips

When it comes to making money (coins) with crops in FarmVille, there are two important variables: net profit and profit per hour. The net profit is simply the amount of money you make for selling a crop minus the cost of the seeds and the cost of plowing the field, while the profit per hour is the net profit / the amount of time it takes for the crop to grow. Maximizing your profits per hour will maximize the profitability of your farm.

  1. When I compared my calculations for crops to yours I saw that you came up with slightly differently results. I see that you have different hours than I used. Does a 1 day crop only take 23 hours in Farmville? I calculated the crops based on 1 day as 24 hours, 2 days as 48 etc...
