Making an SWTOR Guide

With the release of Star Wars The Old Republic, I finally got a new video game to play. If you know anything about me though, you know that each time a new game comes out that I like to play, I ended up creating a guide for it. In this case, you can check out my new SWTOR guide here. I have already put up a lot of information that should help you get started in the game there.

The first thing you will want to check out is the class overview. Each class in the game is covered there so you can figure out exactly what advanced class you want to pick. The way it works in SWTOR is that each starting class has to select an advanced option once you reach level 10, and this choice is permanent. There is no way to change what type of advanced class you select once you do so.

This might seem like no big deal at first, but the truth is it makes a huge difference. What I mean by this is that if you do not like the class you select, you're out of luck and the class you select as an advanced class might be a lot different than your original class. As a result, you need to know what each class is like before you select that option and my guide will help you decide.

Another thing I have covered is the location of all the Datacrons in the game. Datacrons are items hidden around the game world on each planet that will permanently increase your stats once you find them. You want to find all the Datacrons in the game as it is practically like having an extra gear slot from all the bonus stats you get. These Datacron locations are covered in my SWTOR guide.

My New Rift Guide

Hi everyone,

Many people have been asking what I have been up to lately. With Mafia Wars winding down and CityVille as the new top game on Facebook, things have changed a lot over the last year. My interests have changed as well.

Lately I have not been playing as many app-based games on Facebook. Instead, I have been a lot traditional computer games this year. With the success of World of Warcraft, many gaming companies have set out to create games to achieve similar levels of success. The problem is that these games take a very long time to develop (several years at a minimum), so 2011 has become the year of the MMORPG.

One game in particular that has caught my eye is Rift Planes of Telara. I have begun working on a Rift guide that I will keep up with as I play the game. The game is a lot of fun so it only seems natural to create a guide for it much like I did with this site and Mafia Wars prior to that.

The unique thing that Rift brings to the table is dynamic content. In essence, there is a meaningful system of progression (but not the primary one) linked to a dynamic system. Rifts and invaders appear throughout the world, sometimes in very small and sometimes in overwhelming numbers. As you defeat these invaders, you earn credits and faction points which you can turn in for some interesting pieces of equipment. I say interesting because most of the equipment provides passives and some unusual features like +elemental damage on weapon strike.

All in all, this game is a lot of fun. Hope to see some of you in Telara!

FarmVille Champ Review

Not much to see here. Pulled this down as FarmVille has had a lot of changes lately.

FarmVille, World of Warcraft, and Starcraft 2

As many of you can tell, this blog has not been updated in quite some time. Truth be told, I stopped playing FarmVille quite some time ago and no longer have the desire to keep this blog up to date. The people over at Zynga turn out tons of content and there is always new stuff happening, so keeping a blog running that logs all the updates is only for those truly dedicated to FarmVille, so I decided to get out.

Lately, I've been on more of a Blizzard bender and have been playing Starcraft 2 and World of Warcraft. I am currently working on this World of Warcraft Strategy guide, where I hope to put together a series of informative articles on that game to help the player. With WoW Cataclysm around the corner, I think this is a good idea.

As far as the new World of Warcraft expansion goes, I have put together a few articles on how you can make the most out of it and get tons of gold. For example, I outline the professions I think will be the most profitable in the upcoming World of Warcraft Cataclysm expansion. I think there is a lot of gold to be made so it is something you definitely will want to check out.

Additionally, I will update the page with the release of the section, so the page will soon be updated with the best Cataclysm farming locations. I try to keep on top of all the best WoW strategies so it won't be a problem keeping up with your competition.

Additionally, I have been putting a lot of work on my Starcraft 2 site. Be sure to check out this Starcraft 2 Secrets review which is a great review of one of the most popular guides on the market. Well worth the look!

With that said, feel free to browse around the site and see if there is any useful information. I am not sure what has changed in FarmVille, but I get the feeling that a lot of the basics are still the same. Since this site was around before a lot of people started playing FarmVille, there should be some interesting strategies.

Although I haven't played in awhile, I know that ClickGrid is timeless and will always be of benefit, along with the experience points guide and the FarmVille tutorial. These strategies include a lot of great ways you can level up super fast and get tons of coins, so feel free to check them out.

Enjoy your time on the site and I'm sure you will be able to build the perfect farm.
